Systems to set up and automate Hana Bank’s bank-wide operations in Shanghai
Hong Kong, November 2000 – By winning the latest competitive bid to install and automate Hana
Bank’s overseas branch in Shanghai, Hana Bank announced that ABIS Systems
Limited, a global banking technology solutions
provider, is the software house of choice for meeting the needs of their
customers around the world. Hana Bank
has again licensed ABIS Systems’ full software banking solutions suite and with
this installation, China users in Hana Bank Shanghai will be able to have all
levels of bank functionality automated, including for Trade Finance, Treasury,
Retail Banking and the People’s Republic of China’s statutory reporting, like
their colleagues in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

expansion drive to meet this goal.
There are approximately 300,000 Koreans living in Shanghai and with the
WTO signing, we anticipate trading volume between Korea and China to increase
